Nature Hike
at Keizer Rapids Park
(End of
Chemawa Rd.)
Saturday, July 10th,
10:00-11:30 a.m. This event
is for kids K-5th
grade to enjoy the outdoors
as they talk about nature,
and then relate it to who
Christ is. (Example: The sun
- The sun gives us light
(facts about light) John 1:9
says that Jesus is the true
light…) The youth group
will be participating as
guides as they stop at
different areas of the park.
At the end of the hike there
will be a snack and
discussion of things learned
(snack will be provided).
Please provide your own
transportation - we will all
meet at the park at 10:00
a.m. Be sure to bring your
permission slip with you.

OUR CHURCH IN
MISSIONS
Alex Williams
will be speaking in our
Adult Bible Study about
tribal missions. Alex will
be giving answers to
questions like: “What
happens if a person never
hears the Gospel of Christ?”
“Is there a need for
missions today?” “How can I
be a part of missions when
I’m already so busy?” Please
be praying for our church
missionaries, and plan now
to attend this Wednesday
meeting on the 14th.

PICNIC
We
will have our church picnic
at Bush Park (corner of High
St. & Lafayelle). Plan now
to join your church family
for a fun time of food,
fellowship, and games. This
will be a potluck style
picnic. If your last name
begins with A-M, please
bring a main dish and a
dessert; N-Z, please bring a
main dish and a salad. We
ask that you bring your own
table service and beverages
for your family, along with
some lawn chairs if
possible.

Instrumentalists are needed
for our new church
orchestra!
Come join us on Wednesday
nights immediately after
Bible Study and Youth Group.
Brass and woodwinds will
meet with LeRoy Judd and Hal
Olson
in the Awana Room (across
from the Fellowship Hall).
Strings and flutes will meet
in the Fellowship Hall with
Joann Judd
and Sally Olson. The
orchestra will be
coordinating music once a
month to play with our
worship team. |
